About the Stones
In 2002, an assortment of Christian musicians met to arrange and lead music for a 10-week inter-denominational Alpha course. At the time, most of us didnt know each other - we just loved music and came to serve. What we didnt know was that this was a divine appointment, ordained both for our own growth and encouragement, as well as helping draw our community together
Ten week turned into a year, and the Alpha Band turned into Standing Stones, a cross-denominational worship band. Each of us has been cut out of the quarry of life and set upright by our Lord. He gave us a story to tell of His work in our lives and the hope He has carved into our hearts.
